Why a wallet loyalty card beats an app
Every extra step between a customer and your loyalty card costs you sign-ups. The Stampino app asks for no account, no email and no password, but it does ask for a download from the app store, and at the counter with people waiting even that step gets lost.
With a wallet card there is no such step. The customer scans a QR code, taps a button, and that is it. Apple Wallet ships on every iPhone and Google Wallet on most Android phones, so there is nothing new to install.
In practice, that means you can sign someone up at the counter, on their first visit, without explaining anything.
There is one real trade-off: you are not listed in the Stampino app and you do not get everything it offers. A more detailed comparison is set out below.
How the card gets into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
You set it up once, and after that it works the same way every time.
- Choose one offer: stamps (sixth coffee free) or points, which you can name "Cashback".
- We give you a link and a QR code to show your customers.
- The customer scans it and taps "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet", and the card lands on the phone.
- At the counter, the customer opens the card in the wallet and shows you the QR code on it.
- You scan it, and the stamp appears on their card straight away.
What the Lite plan includes
- Personalised support for Apple & Google Wallet
- An unlimited number of customers
- One loyalty offer
- A notification when the customer walks past your location
- Basic analytics
You never have to count cards, and nothing gets cut off in a good month. Other tools cap cards or customers at 100 or 500, and some even cap the stamps or points you are allowed to give. On Stampino, customers, cards and stamps are unlimited on every plan.
By the end of 2025, partner businesses had given out 636,299 stamps and 129,954 rewards between them - through their listing in the Stampino app, which is precisely the part the Lite plan does not include.
What the Lite plan does not include
Lite covers the card in the digital wallet, not all of Stampino.
- No listing in the Stampino app, so its 65,000-plus users cannot discover you there
- One card carries one offer, not several at the same time
- No fully branded card: Apple and Google set the layout, and you choose the logo and the colours
- No birthday rewards
- Push notifications cannot carry links or images, and opens and interactions cannot be tracked
- No advanced statistics
You can also set an expiry period
On the Lite plan there is no expiry: the stamps or points collected stay on the card until the customer reaches the reward.
If you want a limit after which the card resets, you get that with Lite Plus, and the date shows on the customer's card.
The customer is notified automatically 7 days before and once more the day before, so nobody loses their stamps without warning.
For most small businesses the absence of expiry is not a problem. It becomes one only if you want to push the customer to return inside a particular window.
That is where Lite Plus comes in: it gives you the expiry and one more offer, from 18 EUR a month, plus VAT where applicable.
The plan pays for itself in four coffees a month
The Lite plan starts at 10 EUR a month, plus VAT where applicable.
If you sell coffee at 3.50 EUR and keep around 2.40 EUR after materials, the plan pays for itself with four extra coffees a month. Less than one a week.
The bar is low precisely because the plan is small: here you are paying for the wallet card, not for the whole ecosystem.
The card can appear on the lock screen when someone is nearby

Bean & Brew
You're nearby! Come say hi ๐
The card can come up on its own on the customer's lock screen when they are near your location. That is not a notification you send: it is a feature of the digital wallet, and the phone surfaces the card when it is relevant.
It is a quiet reminder at the moment the customer is deciding where to go, with no app listing and nothing for you to send.
You scan with the phone you already have
You open Stampino on the phone or tablet you use anyway and scan the QR code in the customer's wallet. If you have several staff or several work points, each one scans from their own device.
No more printing punch cards and no more keeping count of stamps on paper.
The customer adds the card if someone at the counter asks, and the question is an easy one here: you are not asking for an install, only for one tap.
Who Lite is for, and when to choose a full plan
Lite suits you if you want one simple offer, started quickly and cheaply, in a business the customer returns to often: a coffee shop, a bakery, a barber, a car wash, a florist.
In the wallet, one card shows one offer. Lite Plus gives you two offers, but as two separate cards, so you need a second QR code at the counter and the customer adds them one at a time.
In the Stampino app, every offer sits on a single card.
A full plan also puts the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet: the difference is that the customer then has to install the app once, and in exchange you get everything the app offers.
Both routes start from the same form. After payment we review the request quickly and you get access.
Put your loyalty card in your customers' wallets
Set up one offer, get your QR code, and the card goes straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Your customer installs nothing and creates no account. If you need birthday rewards or a listing in the Stampino app, go straight to the full plans.
Start with the Lite planFrequently asked questions
Does the customer need to install an app?
No. The card goes straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already on the phone. There is nothing to download, no account to create and no password to remember.
Does it work on both iOS and Android?
Yes. On an iPhone the card goes into Apple Wallet, and on Android into Google Wallet. The customer scans the same QR code, and the phone picks the right wallet.
How much does it cost?
The Lite plan starts at 10 EUR a month, plus VAT where applicable.
See the Wallet plansCan I put several offers on one card, or add birthday rewards?
On Lite a card shows one offer and there are no birthday rewards. For a second offer, Lite Plus adds a second card with its own QR code at the counter. Birthday rewards, notifications with images and a listing in the Stampino app come only with the full plans.
Do stamps expire?
Not on the Lite plan: they stay on the card until the reward. If you want a limit after which the card resets, you get that with Lite Plus. The customer is notified automatically 7 days before and again the day before.
Can I move to a full plan later?
Yes, at any time. Write to us and we will move your account onto the right full plan.
What does Lite Plus add over Lite?
Two things: a second offer and the expiry period. The second offer arrives as a second card with its own QR code, not as a second offer on the existing card, so the customer adds them one at a time. The expiry period is yours to set, and the date shows on the customer's card. Lite Plus starts at 18 EUR a month, plus VAT where applicable.
