Buy 3 haircuts, the 4th is free
Corner Barber Shop has a single offer on the card: the customer gets a stamp with every haircut, and after 3 stamps, the 4th haircut is free.
The threshold is low on purpose. A regular customer gets a haircut every few weeks, so a card of 10 haircuts would take almost a year. With 3 haircuts, the reward comes within a few months, soon enough to give the customer a reason to come back.
A single offer makes the program easy to explain: the customer understands right away what they get and when.
An expiry period that follows the customers' pace
The offer has an expiry period of 72 days for the 3 haircuts, set in the Stampino panel. That means, on average, one haircut every three and a half weeks, the pace of a loyal customer.
The deadline encourages the customer not to put off the next appointment. Those who come back regularly easily reach the free haircut, and the reward goes to the customers who really do come back.
The customer sees the deadline on the card and automatically gets a notification 7 days and one day before it expires.
On the customer's birthday: 20% off a haircut

Happy birthday!
Get 20% off your haircut in your birthday week.
On their birthday, the customer gets 20% off a haircut, valid during their birthday week.
Choosing a discount instead of a free haircut is a smart move: the gift costs you little and brings in a visit at a time when the customer wants to look good anyway.
The reward appears on the card automatically, without you keeping track of birthdays or sending anything by hand.
The free haircut can be kept for later
Corner Barber Shop also has saving rewards for later turned on. When the customer completes the card, the free haircut stays saved in the app and they can use it on a later visit.
The customer does not have to use the reward right away: they keep it for the right moment, and in the meantime they can collect stamps toward the next one.
The rules, shown right on the card
Under the offer, the card states two rules: the offer is valid for one customer only, and it cannot be combined with other promotions.
The first rule means the free haircut belongs to whoever collected the stamps, so a card is not shared between friends or family members.
Because the rules are on the card, the customer knows them in advance, and there are no misunderstandings when the reward is given.
Free slots in the schedule? Announce them with a notification

Free slots today
We have free slots today after 4 pm. See you soon!
In a barbershop, an empty hour in the schedule is an hour lost. With a push notification, the announcement reaches the phone of every customer who has the card: free slots that same day, the holiday schedule or a new service.
The message goes straight to the people who already get their haircut at your place, without depending on how many people see your post on social media.
In the reports you see how many stamps were given and how many free haircuts were claimed, so you know how well the program works.
How to set up a loyalty program for your barbershop
The Corner Barber Shop model works for any barbershop. The steps:
1. Choose a low threshold.
3 or 4 haircuts, so the reward comes within a few months, not a year from now.
2. Set an expiry period that follows your customers' pace.
Start from the usual time between two haircuts, multiplied by the number of stamps. At Corner Barber Shop, 72 days for 3 haircuts.
3. Add a birthday reward.
A discount on a haircut, valid for a week, brings an extra visit without costing you a whole haircut.
4. State the rules on the card.
If the offer is personal or cannot be combined with other promotions, mention it in the offer text.
5. Scan the card at every payment.
The customer adds the card by scanning the QR code at the front desk, and after every haircut you scan the code on their phone, with the shop's phone or tablet.
Expiry periods and saving rewards for later come with the Standard plan and up. The birthday reward and push notifications are included in every plan with a listing in the app.
Create your barbershop's loyalty program
You set the offer, the threshold and the expiry period in the admin panel, and you can change them at any time, based on the reports. You scan cards with the shop's phone or tablet, and the price of the plan does not grow with the number of customers.

Why only 3 haircuts to the reward?
